Day 1– Arrival in Negombo

On the way to Sigiriya, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and watch elephants bathe in the river. Arrive in Sigiriya and enjoy a peaceful evening at your resort.

Day 2 – Negombo → Pinnawala → Sigiriya

Climb the magnificent Lion Rock Fortress – a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient frescoes and breathtaking panoramic views. Spend the afternoon exploring lush village trails or relaxing.

Day 3 – Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Embark on an evening jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, home to wild elephants, monkeys, deer, and a variety of birdlife. Witness the famous elephant gatherings in the wild.

Day 4 – Minneriya National Park Safari

Cycle through the ruins of Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s medieval capital. Visit the Royal Palace, Gal Vihara stone Buddhas, and sacred temples that bring history to life.

Day 5 – Polonnaruwa Ancient City

Explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, where centuries-old Buddha statues and colorful murals line the golden caves. Continue to Kandy, the hill capital, and enjoy a serene evening.

Day 6 – Dambulla → Kandy

Discover the Temple of the Tooth Relic – Sri Lanka’s most sacred Buddhist site. Stroll around Kandy Lake, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, and end the day with a traditional cultural dance performance.

Journey through misty mountains and waterfalls to Nuwara Eliya. Tour a working tea factory, sip a fresh brew, and walk through lush tea plantations. Evening at Gregory Lake.

Day 8 – Kandy → Nuwara Eliya (Tea Country)

Board the world-famous train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. Pass rolling tea hills, forests, and bridges. On arrival, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge at sunset.

Day 9 – Scenic Train to Ella
